3 celebrities Seann Walsh will beat in a Strictly dance-off

Friday 12th October 2018

He’s the favourite to go on Strictly Come Dancing this week, but we reckon Seann Walsh might just live to fight another day.

The comedian has seemingly lost favour with some fans since being caught on camera kissing his professional dance partner Katya Jones—he is bottom of the odds table and a rank outsider to win the BBC One series at 40/1.

However, as argued by our vlogger Lisa Appleton earlier this week, even if he’s in the bottom two, there’s little chance of him actually getting the boot (unless their ‘dance of shame’ loses all chemistry) because the judges are the ones with the final say.

Let’s not forget that Seann is improving week by week since the series started.

And looking at the bookmaker odds, there is an opportunity to make some money on these three dancers...

Katie Piper — 3/1 to be eliminated

As lovely as Katie is, she hasn’t exactly set the dance floor on fire since the series started.

Last week her Foxtrot to 'City of Stars' from La La Land with Gorka Marquez gained her 22 points from the judges—a vast improvement from weeks one and two (see video below)—but unless she really pulls it out of the bag, she is certainly the most likely to get the boot.

Her odds have already shortened from 4/1 to be eliminated.

The TV presenter is at the bottom of the leaderboard—she currently has 52 points in total—and if faced with Sean in the dance off, she might be in trouble.

Strictly Come Dancing winner odds

Ranj Singh — 4/1 to be eliminated

We love Ranj, but a winning smile will only get you so far on Strictly.

The This Morning doctor started out well but last week’s score of 20 was the lowest of all, along with Paralympian Lauren Stedman, who scored the same.

He performed the Quickstep to 'Prince Ali' along with dancer Janette Manrara (see below).

He’s got 71 points in total so he’s not the worst in the pack, but it's the public vote that will put him in the bottom two, not points.

Charles Venn — 8/1 to be eliminated

Poor Charles was in the dance off last week, following his American Smooth to 'Up Where We Belong' with dance partner Karen Clifton.

Despite not getting the worst scores (25 last week) the casualty actor is obviously in a potentially dangerous position when it comes to getting the public vote.

Lee Ryan, who went in week 3, was in the dance off the week before, so if history repeats itself, this could be Charles’ final curtain.

*Odds may fluctuate depending on the bookmaker.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this weekend on BBC One.
