It’s all change once again in Strictly Come Dancing as a new favourite emerges following the first elimination.
Joe Sugg is now leading the way as the new favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing, shooting past Ashley Roberts and Stacey Dooley.
His odds have been slashed to 4/1 after a wave of support in the betting over the weekend after being rated an outsider at the beginning.
The YouTuber, who is the younger brother of Zoella, and his dance partner Dianne Buswell's Charleston to ′Cotton Eyed Joe’ by Rednex earned them 31 points from the judges.
They weren’t the only dancing partners that impressed the judges with that impressive score—Faye Tozer and Giovanni’s Viennese Waltz to ′It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World’ gained them 31 points.
The former Steps star is 11/2.
Former Pussycat Doll Ashley is 5/1 with the bookmakers, while Stacey Dooley is 6/1.
TV presenter Susannah Constantine had been the 6/4 favourite to leave the show prior to her elimination on Sunday.
Expected to be in danger of leaving this week are comedian Seann Walsh, former cricketer Greame Swann and TV presenter Katie Piper, who are at the bottom of both the scoreboard and the odds table.
Coral's Harry Aitkenhead said: ”Joe was rated as an outsider originally but we've seen almost unprecedented support in the betting and it's catapulted him to the new favourite to win the show.
"It's 1-0 to the punters, who correctly predicted that Susannah would be the first to be packing her bags. Seann Walsh and Lee Ryan are the next two near the top of the betting to be next to leave.”
