I’m a Celebrity: 5 potential winners and their returns

Tuesday 27th November 2018

Now the celebs have settled into jungle life, it's time to start thinking about who to stick your money on.

Men have won more times than women, however the last three years have seen a Queen of the Jungle.

After a week of calm and polite banter, some of the campmates are cracking the whip (Nick Knowles), while others are being put in their place (Noel Edmonds), much to the delight of us viewers.

Here are the current I’m a Celebrity favourites for 2018, along with their odds for each available market...

Fleur East

Winner: 28/1
Top woman: 13/2
Top 3: 6/1

Fleur's odds have widened quite a bit over the last week, following a strong start.

But there is no reason why she can't turn the public back round—and that's why a punt on her now could be a wise decision.

That said, with the strong personalities that are coming through, the X Factor vocalist has a lot of work to do if she wants to be crowned queen of the jungle.

Already having sung, danced and paraded round in a tiny bikini, does she have any more tricks up her sleeve?

Emily Atack

Winner: 13/2
Top woman: evens
Top 3: 8/11

The Inbetweeners star has seen a steady climb of support since setting foot in the jungle and is already a dead cert for top 3 finish and top woman markets.

But does she have what it takes to climb up to the top spot? She's certainly got the personality traits for it: down to earth, funny, a bit goofy and naturally easy on the eye.

But despite a strong first trial, she's been a bit mardy during the last couple, so the British actress will have to up her bravery stakes if she wants to come out on top.

I'm a Celebrity winner odds

John Barrowman

Winner: 10/1
Top man: 7/1
Top 3: 5/4

Scottish-American actor/singer John Barrowman was a heavy favourite going into the jungle, but his odds have widened over the last few days.

Being genuinely hilarious and all around likeable is playing into his favour, but has he played all his cards too soon?

Accidentally passing fellow campmate Emily a 'yabbie' instead of a key in their recent trial has definitely been a highlight, so hopefully exploits like this will work in the former Doctor Who star's favour.

Nick Knowles

Winner: 5/2
Top man: 2/1
Top 3: 1/3

It's fair to say there are probably few people who dislike Nick Knowles. The host of DIY SOS and all around nice guy, TV builder and singer Nick is sitting pretty in the second favourite spot.

Despite recent success with his album going to number one, it might be a bit of a leap to top spot in the winner's market.

Saying that, us Brits are suckers for down to earth characters—a guy you could go and have a beer with any time. It's easy to relate to the hard-working dad-of-four, which is showing with his popularity among the viewers.

Harry Redknapp

Winner: 11/10
Top man: 5/6
Top 3: 1/6

Rumours that he had been given the boot from the show has only pushed the ex-football manager further ahead in the bookies' eyes.

From football anecdotes to awkward stories about his intimate moments with his beloved wife Sandra, the 71-year-old is doing better on I’m a Celebrity than he has arguably done in his entire football career.

And it's showing in the former Hammers manager's odds, which have shortened massively over the weekend. Will he be blowing bubbles all the way to the final?
