Iain Lee odds slashed following more I'm a Celebrity 'bullying' by his campmates

Iain Lee shed much needed tears of joy in the I’m a Celebrity jungle after being the victim of ‘bullying’ from some of his campmates.

The radio host received an email from his two sons following Georgia “Toff” Toffolo and Jennie McAlpine’s Dingo Dollar Challenge success.

Iain’s boys had written a letter read out by Toff to a visibly moved Iain:

Dear Daddy,

We’ve been watching you. We think you did very well on the rocket trial. We felt scared and worried watching you because we know you are scared of heights. Thank you so much for doing it for us. We thought you were incredible because when you jumped for the last part we thought you might not do it. We were so happy that you did it we jumped around. You are our hero.

We think you are doing super super well not eating much food. When you come back we will take you to the Japanese restaurant where they cook the food on the table.

Please can you bring back a baby kangaroo for us.

“Darling boys that’s a surprise, I love you so much,” said Iain wiping his eyes.

He told the Bush Telegraph: “For a long time in here, I thought this was the biggest mistake I had ever made but to have (the letter) makes it all worthwhile.”

Jamie Lomas also received a letter from his family, which was read out by Jennie.

The Hollyoaks actor has come under fire along with Dennis Wise and Amir Khan for their treatment of Iain since his late arrival into camp.

On Thursday Dennis "humiliated" Iain by saying he didn't want him to do any trials because he "didn't want to have no dinner".

He said: "My only problem and I’ll be honest with you Iain, is that you’ve said ‘Get Me Out Of Here’ twice and what I don’t want to do is we have no dinner and so…."

Bookmakers have slashed their odds on Iain becoming King of the Jungle to around 6/1 (from 11/1) as just six celebrities remain in camp now.

Radio host Iain was 16/1 to win when he first landed in Australia yet is now second favourite behind runaway contender Georgia Toffolo who is odds on at 1/5 to be crowned winner.

“Iain was widely regarded as an also ran when he first entered the jungle but we’ve taken a lot of bets on him to win over the last few days. He is now clear second favourite and looks set to make the final,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.

Dennis Wise is again odds on to depart next despite managing to avoid elimination last night. The former footballer is 4/7 with Coral whilst Amir Khan (4/1) and Jamie Lomas (11/2) are also in trouble according to the betting.

“The friendly trio of Amir, Dennis and Jamie looks set to be broken up on tonight’s show and punters are again getting their money on Dennis to be the one to depart,” added Aitkenhead.

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! continues tonight from 9pm on ITV.
