Survival of the Fittest's Georgia and Lottie branded 'snakes' ahead of survival challenge

Monday 19th February 2018

The gloves have come off on Survival of the Fittest as Georgia and Lottie are blasted by the boys for eyeing up new boy Joel Bennett.

Tensions rose to boiling point on Sunday when Laura Whitmore entered the lodge and told the boys they had to nominate two girls to go head to head in a challenge that will see one eliminated.

The girls had to say a few words about why they should stay, but despite Georgia’s protests that she is a genuine person – and subsequent tears at the prospect of leaving – David Lundy blasts her for being a “snake” for using him to stay in the process.

He said: “I know you’re upset and I don’t want to upset you any more than you are but if I can touch on your first point that you say you’re genuine. Then one, you didn’t even mention my name when you said that speech, and two, why is it I have heard on the grapevine that I have been used as a pawn in your game to stay in the lodge?

“Someone who is genuine would not do that.”

Despite saying it was her intention to use him at the start, she then said she did have feelings for him – contrasting what she had said earlier in the day to the girls.

Lottie faired no better when Warren confronted her about her feelings for Joel.

The Welsh farmer admitted fancying the new boy to everyone except Warren.

He said: “It’s disrespectful from what I’ve done and I think we should just knock it on the head.”

Putting the pair up for the head-to-head challenge, which will air tonight, David didn’t back down later as he vented in the tree house.

“She’s running out of lives now,” said David. “She’s not a cat. She’s on thin ice with everyone now and it’s about to break.”

Georgia and Lottie need a good head for heights for the first head-to-head challenge, called time travellers, will take place on beams high above a waterhole with a sand timer at each end.

The pair must keep both sand timers running  by walking the plank to either end and turning them before they run out of sand.

The game will be played over three rounds, the best of three wins, with the loser going hime and being replaced by a new girl.

Survival of the Fittest continues tonight from 9pm on ITV2.
