Lea Sirk will represent Slovenia at this year's Eurovision Song Contest with the song Hvala ne (Thank you, no).

Hopefully, this dance number can capture some of the vast TV audience votes, but Slovenia seems to have forgotten it's a song contest!

Lea Sirk started her musical education at the age of five in the town of Koper and participated in various national and international competitions, regularly finishing among the top singers.

Lea studied at the Conservatory of Music in Geneva and has played in various orchestras and participated in different seminars across Europe.

After graduating, she embarked on her master studies with honours in specialised music.

In 2005, Lea received an award for the most promising young singer at the International Music Competition in Cologne

She competed in the Slovenian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in both 2009 and 2010 before success in this year's selection.

She has also been a backing singer twice at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 in Copenhagen with Tinkara Kovač and in 2016 in Stockholm with ManuElla.
