THE GIRLS

Georgie Clarke

Age: 25

Occupation: Research and development tax credit consultant

Location: South London

What is the appeal of Survival of the Fittest for you?

“The battle of the sexes, the fact that it’s men verses women. I’m all about female empowerment so I think it’s interesting to put us in a situation where we are doing that and to see who is loyal and who is not.”

Georgia Cole

Age: 25

Occupation: Business development manager

Location: Bristol

Who do you think are the stronger sex and why?

“It’s 50/50 nowadays. I don’t believe that ‘guys are stronger than girls’ and if anything I think girls have an advantage to lads because we’re brainier.”

Tia Latham

Age: 28

Occupation: Model

Location: Buckinghamshire

Who do you think are the stronger sex and why?

“Girls are the stronger sex because girls are able to multi task and deal with a lot of things. Men just focus on one thing at a time.”

Dani Mas Dyer

Age: 21

Occupation: Barmaid

Location: East London

What is your claim to fame?

“My dad is Danny Dyer. He is excited about me being on the show. When I first told him, like any dad, he had his protective hat on and said, ‘Don’t do anything silly.’ Now he is getting it and he said ‘It feels real now and I’m so proud of you.’”

Mariam Musa

Occupation: Department manager and vlogger

Location: Surrey

What is your secret strength that stands you in good stead for this battle of the sexes?

“I’m so nice and I’m so understanding so I can use it to my advantage and someone else’s weakness. I could open old wounds and could flip it. It’s not the nicest thing, but I want to win!”

Location: Wigan

What is your secret strength that stands you in good stead for this battle of the sexes?

Mettisse Campbell

Occupation: Model and beautician

Location: Birmingham

Who do you think is the stronger sex?

"I do think females are the stronger sex, not just in regards to this show but in life, I think women are so much stronger.

"We are stronger minded, we are the mothers, we are the nurturers. It’s about time that men were put down a little bit. They need to get off their pedestal."

Location: Manchester

Why do you think the girls should win?

"There is a lot of stereotyping around men winning fitness challenges. I can understand why, they are bigger and stronger and more muscly but it’s not all about the physical challenges, it’s the mental ones as well."
