Jermaine Jackman | the voice | will.i.am | winner | 2014

Jermain Jackman was the winner of the third series of The Voice UK in 2014 coached by the effervescent will.i.am. Like the two winners before him, Leanne Mitchell and Andrea Begley, little has been heard of him since.

It would seem that whatever its faults may be and however criticized, The X Factor and Simon Cowell's machine certainly has a more impressive success rate when it comes to translating a win to a career. After all, the two most successful acts – Olly Murs and One Direction – were runners up.

Jermain reached 39 in the iTunes chart with his debut single And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going and his debut self-titled album limped at 42.
