Gary's Final Three| X Factor| 2013| Live Shows| Final Three | Judges

Gary Barlow Small

Unudually for the X Factor there appeared to be quite a decent selection of talent in the Groups category. Gary Barlow looked optimistic and determined about his chances on leaving Boot Camp, but it wasnt long before it was clear that red tape was about to hamper his endeavours. Both Rough Copy and Code 4 had band members who were unable to travel to New York for Visa issues, leaving them a man down in both cases.

Once again the process was emotional, with tears falling like fire hydrants as Gary made his decision with the support of Olly Murs, a man well versed in the X Factor process. The decisions made were in many ways unexpected with Gary's favourites Brick City missing the cut and boy band Kingsland, reminiscent of a young Take That taking the glory. Miss Dynamix who did make it to the Live Shows, were manufactured by Gary from the soloists and he must be hoping that he is launching an X Factor firework like One Direction with these three women. Here are the acts that Gary will be resting his hopes on.

This is the second time Rough Copy have reached Judges' Houses on the X Factor. Last year their journey was halted due to a visa issue with their lead singer Kaz and the same issue interupted their progress this year too. However by allowing the group to perform as a duo Barlow was able to put them through and then re unite them for the Live Shows. Harmonious, professional and slick Gary will be expecting big things of this trio and the audience should get behind them. Nothing new here but entertaining.

This X Factor creation, will be hoping that they are as successful as the only successful X Factor group Little Mix and in many ways they have a better chance. Although only together for a matter of weeks they have a look and sound that belies that. They could go a very long way in the competition if they continue as they have started. Gary Barlow will also be chuffed to bits that his creation sounds so good and is sure to give them a lot of his time and expertise.

London boy band Kingsland will be hoping for all the success of One Direction and of couse of Take That. If anyone can push them to the very end of the competition Barlow must be the one with the expertise, but they could easily be a couple of years too late. Of course everyone will be reminding them that One Direction did not win the X Factor, so the prize may not be their sole focus, more the publicity and profile.
